Easter Egg-citment

Spread the love

Southern Made Blog | Easter Egg-citment

I don’t know about y’all, but when I have an excuse to decorate, craft, or bake…I get egg-cited! Hehe…couldn’t resist.  Not to mention having a toddler that would love to help with all of the above.  With April right around the corner, we are in Easter Egg-citment mode and I’ve been dreaming of spring.  Plus, it’s been gloomy and rainy all week here in Houston.  I think this year it’s going to be March showers bring April flowers.  So I’m going to brighten things up a bit with pretty little things and fun colors while I pretend I’m drinking lemonade on a lovely spring day.  Want to join me?

My go-to decorating spots in our house usually consist of the mantle, front porch and door, my chalkboard, and my bar area.  Here’s a little Easter decor I’m currently eyeballing.

If you have kiddos, dying eggs and doing crafts are a MUST!  I’m thinking about showing Harper a few of these and letting him pick his favorite.  Of course, the first two pictures are probably more for me than him.  Aren’t they gorgeous?! Parents can have fun with dying eggs too!

This is the first year he can really participate with Easter activities and I’m so excited!  I have fond memories growing up and doing fun things around the holidays with my parents and sisters.  I’m looking forward to starting traditions with my own littles and creating new memories for them to carry throughout the years too.  Hope these fun pictures brighten up your day like they have mine.  Hoppy weekend! :)

Thank you, Lois! Yes, you’re right! It can be very overwhelming. We usually just pick a couple of things and have fun with them, without comparing them to Pinterest pictures. Lol! Hope you have a great Easter! Thanks for reading.
