If you live in or around Tennessee and didn’t come out for the Made South Market recently, then you missed out! Seriously, it was amazing! I loved this little southern affair! The day could not have been more perfect or beautiful! The weather was amazing, the food was delicious, the music was authentic, the vendors were incredible and there were friendly southerners on every corner. Even Forrest Gump was there! We definitely plan on making this event a yearly tradition!

Doesn’t it look like a blast? Check out #madesouthmarket on Instagram to see more pictures! This is my sweet friend, Vanessa, who invited me. She’s got a fabulous blog over at Daily Delivered. She introduced me to Chris and Kimberly, the owners of Made South, when I got to the market. I found out this company isn’t just a yearly market here in Franklin, Tennessee. They actually have a quarterly subscription box that includes unique southern made goods and they donate 10% of their profits to southern charities. Such a great concept! There’s no company that pairs better with Southern Made Blog than Made South! So, I wanted to be able to offer y’all some kind of discount to check it out! They were kind enough to share a discount code to my readers who want to check out their fall box. Head over to their website to get 10% off of their fall box using the coupon code, “market10”.
After talking to the owners of Made South, Vanessa and I drank sweet tea and shopped til we dropped! I bought some prints for the new house that I can’t wait to show you guys and got some yummy cocktail mixers…I definitely see a new sangria recipe in the near future. We came home with so many goodies! I got to meet and chat with a lot of these shop owners and I can’t wait to share their amazing stuff with y’all. There will definitely be some giveaways coming up from these shops. Make sure you follow me on Instagram and Facebook to stay up to date with when we’ll be doing those!
If you have an opportunity to check out the market next year, definitely come! There was no shortage of southern hospitality! If ya know me at all, you know this southern belle was in heaven!
