I’m behind on posting an update, as usual. We’ve been busy getting bags packed and things around the house ready for this baby boy. But things are finally starting to slow down as we get ready for Rohen to make his arrival. I’m wrapping up the end of my 37th week and I’ll be 38 weeks on Wednesday. So, here’s my little bump update.
How far along? 37 Weeks
Total weight gain: 32 lbs
Maternity clothes? Oh yes…not a whole lot of my non-maternity clothes are stretching to fit my big ole belly anymore.
Stretch marks? No. Didn’t get them with Harper, so I’m hopeful this time around as well. Fingers crossed!
Sleep: Sleeping hard…until I try to turn over and that wakes me up. This boy is HEAVY!
Best moment this week: Getting all of our bags packed and hearing Harper tell Daddy that he wanted to go to the hospital to see Rohen. Be still my heart! I can’t wait to see my two sweet babies together!
Miss Anything? Feeling comfortable. Lol! The last few weeks of pregnancy are rough, y’all!
Movement: He’s still moving as much as he has room to. Mostly jabs and punches. :)
Food cravings: Still watermelon. I’m a lot less hungry for a meal these days and finding myself just snacking more. There’s not much room in there aside from baby boy.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope
Labor Signs: Yes
Symptoms: Lots of Braxton Hicks contractions and some cramping. Plus, I was 1cm dilated at my 36 week check up. Still progressing towards labor, so I’m eager for my 38 week check up this week.
Belly Button in or out? Out
Wedding rings on or off? On…which I’m shocked. I had swelling SO bad with Harper in the winter right before I delivered. So I really expected to swell being in my third trimester in the heat of the summer. Happy to report no swelling and still wearing my ring. Wooohooo!!
Happy or Moody most of the time: Super happy and excited for this little guy to make his arrival. We are as prepared as we can be, so we’re just counting the days now.
Looking forward to: Snuggling my little boys and being a family of four. Plus, just having a newborn to kiss and smell and snuggle…and well, just enjoy all the things this little bundle will bring.

I didn’t have labor symptoms like this with Harper’s pregnancy and we ended up inducing at 39 weeks. So, it’s weird feeling all of this and not knowing when I’ll go into labor. Plus, taking my pregnancy photos and not knowing if it will be my last baby bump picture. The countdown has begun!
Mamas, when did you go into labor with your kiddo?
