Tis the season for holiday decorating, gingerbread making, and holiday parties. We all know this is the busiest month of the year. Harper’s in kindergarten this year and it’s Rohen’s first year of preschool. In years past I am usually scrambling to get all the things done. Somehow, this year I planned early enough to get creative. Lol! #momlife
There’s something about the end of the year that always means we will have an abundant amount of candy in our house. It starts at Halloween and we just accumulate more and more through the next few months. So, when it comes to holiday parties and gifts for classmates and friends, I try to avoid candy at all cost.
I wanted to make something fun that the kids could create and would make them use their imagination. So I’m pretty obsessed with this fun, little gift option for the kids’ friends. It’s easy and both of my boys helped me pack up all the bags.
I threw the bags together quickly, so I ran by Party City to pick up supplies. You could also get them at Hobby Lobby or online. I’ve linked them up below as well.
Supplies you’ll need:
- Red Balloons
- Clear or Red Glow Stick
- Gift Bags
- Red Ribbon or Curling Ribbon
- Rudolph Insert

Merry Christmas Rudolph Printable Happy Holidays Rudolph PrintableInstructions:
Print out however many inserts you need. Cut them out and write your kiddos name on each paper insert. Then put your kids to work! :) Stuff one balloon, one glow stick and one print out into each bag. Tie it up and call it a day.
My boys loved this and I think it’s a fun, little option out of the norm. It’s also a cute gift for neighborhood friends and anyone else you want to surprise. If you and your littles make some, please come back and comment on the blog post or tag me on Instagram (@southernmadeblog). I’d love to hear or see how they turned out.
Merry Christmas, y’all!
