Baby Bump Update | 35 Weeks

Southern Made Blog - 35 weeks Pregnancy Bump Update

How far along: 35 (ish) weeks
Gender: Baby Boy
Maternity clothes: Yes! Most of what I’ve been wearing is maternity.  It’s been super hot lately, so I’ve tried finding the lightest items possible! Living in dresses like this one!
Sleep: Still pretty good…with the occasional bathroom run in the middle of the night.
Best moment this month: Getting things around the house ready for Rohen’s arrival.  I’m in full nesting mode, so prepping for him has helped ease my OCD tendencies! Lol!
Worst moment this month: I’m still having the round ligament pain pretty often.  Plus, this charley horse type pain in both of my hip flexors…which is awful and usually takes me down. I didn’t have those with Harper’s pregnancy and they’re definitely no fun!  Obviously all of this is to be expected as I’m wrapping this pregnancy up.
Miss anything: Cute summer clothes that AREN’T maternity.  Every shop I’ve been into has the cutest summer pieces and I’m past the point of making regular clothes work with this big ole belly.
Movement: Baby boy is non-stop! I imagine him just doing somersaults! So thankful for an active baby! It’s still the sweetest feeling ever!
Cravings: See picture above :)
Queasy or sick: Still feeling good in this area.  I’m starting to drink this Third Trimester Pregnancy Tea made by Earth Mama Angel Baby. It’s supposed to help get your body ready for labor.  We shall see!
Looking forward to: Seeing my boys together!  It’s definitely setting in that we are about to be a family of four.  As I get things finished and ready for him, I’m getting less anxious and more excited about it all!

We would love to have more children, but obviously don’t know God’s plans for us.  So I’m embracing every moment of this pregnancy, the good and the bad, and trying to enjoy these last few weeks.  Creating a child is such a miracle and I feel so very blessed to have experienced pregnancy twice now.  I can’t wait to hold Rohen and to snuggle all of my sweet boys!
