Happy Saturday, friends! Hope you guys are starting off your weekend right! I’m finally caught up on my pregnancy posts…woooohoooo!! AND we finally nailed down baby brother’s name and I’m SOOOOOO excited to share it with y’all…plus, this 34 week baby bump I’m currently sporting.
How far along: 34 weeks
Gender: Baby Boy
Weight gain: 28 lbs.
Maternity clothes: Currently wearing lots of maxis and maternity clothes from Old Navy. Plus, I found a couple of shorts and tanks from Motherhood Maternity that I’ve been living in that are super comfortable!
Sleep: When I sleep, sleep is pretty great! I’ve been using my Lavender DoTerra essential oil and that usually helps me relax and pass right out! I’ve been trying to get to bed earlier when I can because Harper has starting waking up at the crack of dawn. Most days I’ve been napping when he does. I’ve really just tried listening to what my body is telling me this time around.
Best moment this month: Seeing our sweet Rohen on the 3D ultrasound, which was so much clearer than Harp’s was a couple of years ago. Check out my Instagram (@SouthernMadeBlog) to see his sweet face! I’m sure I’ll be posting some in an upcoming post!
Worst moment this month: I’m definitely starting to feel more uncomfortable. His sweet little kicks and pushes are becoming more piercing and I feel like I’m stretched to capacity….although, I know I’m not.
Miss anything: Getting to sleep 8 hours straight without having to wake up to run to the bathroom. Plus, I’ve been craving margaritas, Coronas, and wine something fierce with summer now here! So, I’m definitely looking forward to one of those once Rohen is here.
Movement: Oh yes!! Especially at night once I’m in bed and have gotten still. Harper still doesn’t know what to think about it. Lol! It’s pretty funny to watch his reactions.
Cravings: Watermelon, Orangeades, Mexican food, anything chocolate related …especially Oreos
Queasy or sick: Nope, I’ve been lucky in this regard with both pregnancies.
Looking forward to: Finishing things up around the house in preparation for his arrival. We’re currently leasing a house while we build, so luckily I’m not having to scramble to put a nursery together. I’ll be able to take my time creating it and making it perfect for this sweet little man! More to come in another post about his nursery and our building process, so stay tuned! :)
Hope you guys have a fabulous weekend!! Have a cocktail for me! :)
